Summer is almost here!

So we broke out the sidewalk chalk and let Christopher play while Daddy mowed the lawn. He loved it. He's not so much into drawing pictures and things as into scribbling (as he should be). He loved it, and it's been so beautiful on the weekends (with gloomy weekdays) that it was perfect.

So dressing in his shorts and tank top, he took to the street to create his masterpiece...

He's definitely able to handle them well...

He was very focused...

"mama, look!"

Checking out the different angles..

And very pleased with himself...

And all this while Daddy...

Can you see it?

It's a house, with grass and two dogs!

So given we are such a fair skinned family, we moved the party indoors to play.

Christopher played with his new toy,

And pushed it...

And then got pushed and pulled...

And then Christopher spent some time with the dogs...

Cody is such a good boy with Christopher. Spartan is too, but he doesn't just lay there, he gets up and moves out of the toddler's way. Cody just let's him pet him, shove toys at him, and talk with him. It's nice to see.

And then on to toys and puzzles.

Ahhh, this is what my floor looks like in the midst of playing...

And technically, everything appears to be a toy...

We actually got a free second one from our local Comcast store just for Christopher to play with. We took the batteries out and he loves it.
