Party on dude!

Sunday we headed up to Dave and Busters for a friends birthday party. We thought it would be good to get up north to see friends, get out of the house, and it would be a whole new experience for Christopher.


We started off at the pool tables. Christopher played with a pool ball for a little while.






He had conversations with his new friends that only he understood.

After dinner, we had cake.



For which Junior kept signing "cookie" for.






These are out of focus but they are too cute not to share. But I was holding Junior and the camera and he kept trying to snuggle with Daddy without leaving my arms. He's been very Mommy-Clingy the last week.

Teeth, Teeth and more Teeth

Besides this being the cutest smile in the world, can you see them? No?




Now? Christopher has three of this top four teeth in. The far left, and both on the right. We've officially gone from a gummy smile to a toothy smile. And look how tall those bottom teeth are. And don't let him fool you and get your finger in there as a chewing toy, those teeth are sharp!!!!

Teeth, teeth and more teeth

So Christopher is teething. BIG time. He already got his bottom two and it now getting 4-6 more. I think I mentioned this in a previous post, but here's a picture for reference.




A little over a month ago, he got his two bottom Central Incisors. 1 1/2 weeks ago he cut his upper Lateral Incisors (yep check the chart, vampire teeth). As of tonight he has cut the right top central incisor and is starting to cut the left upper one. Ooyy, 4 teeth. he is not a happy camper tonight. Orajel and Tylenol. He's asleep now, but poor little guy, I can't imagine.

He seems to understand "no" which is good.

Christopher is such a joy to just play with. To watch his little brain work things out. He is always using his pointer finger to touch, feel and move things. He's so good at it he can turn the light off in his bedroom (video to come soon). He is also in the middle of major teething (yes, the above video is him pushing through 4 or 6 teeth). He just cut his "vampire teeth" as Grandpa Angelo puts it. His "vampire teeth" are the two top teeth on either side of the middle ones. So he's got the two middle bottom and then the top two on the outside. Weird. Right now he's cutting the middle top two and I think the other two on the bottom... photos are hard to get but we'll try.

Teething...

Christopher has been teething for... oh for a while. He's been drooling a ton, a little fussier, and the last week his sleeping has been off. Of course, Christopher, on a bad day of teething, is just a fussy baby. Still sleeps through the night (crossing fingers) just waking up a little earlier 6:15am instead of 7am the last 5 days.

So to help him with this pain, we've given him Tylenol, teething rings, cold teething rings (thanks to Grandma Angelo) and Orajel. Now it looks like his bottom two are coming in, any day. That's where the orajel has gone. Well this morning, I try to feel if something has broken through, he bites down. How suprised was I to feel something sharp on TOP of my finger. I felt again and although I didn't see any teeth, there is a sharp edge to his UPPER gum. Yes, Christopher is cutting his first two teeth, and they are the on the TOP.

My son just has to do everything backwards!
