Sunday we went to the Folsom City Zoo and Sanctuary. It was definitely more of a sanctuary than a zoo, but perfect to take a 19 month old to. Short and sweet. Plus with the heat a lot of the animals were asleep. Dad and I took him and we had a lot of fun.

The peacocks were everywhere and LOUD!
Christopher really enjoyed seeing the bear, especially since he ended up getting up and moving around. "roar!"

And then we went over to the train! Grandpa took Christopher on the train so that mommy could take photos. He loved it!

It took awhile to get going once they sat down and I think he got a little squirmy. That all stopped once they got going.

This is what Christopher does now when you tell him to close his eyes, and how he plays peek-a-boo (of course he shouts boo when he covers his eyes)
I think he's just realized what's going on :)
