This past weekend was the relay for life with my cousins. It was from 10am Saturday to 10am Sunday. We don't stay the night yet with Christopher still so young, but we were there (in shifts) till late, and came over first thing in the morning with coffee and bagels and to help tear down. We had such a great time and it was fun to watch Christopher playing with his cousins.
Anthony and William with the Pineapple. We tried to get Christopher in the photo, but he wasn't too thrilled. It was our first experience with him meeting a "character".
But he recovered quickly and was having fun with the "balls" (balloons) all around...
William clowning around...
The theme this year was Birthdays, getting more birthdays for cancer survivors. That's why the decorations are all birthday related.
Aunt Marie and Uncle Jon (my cousins)
Marie made these amazing shirts that we sold at the tent.
The kids played games:
And Uncle Chris posed...
And then we went back at 7:45am the next day to help clean up. Christopher LOVED this part :)
(His father dressed him like this, don't blame me. He said the orange top went with the orange in the shorts, oye vey!)
"Mama"
I think it was falling here and was trying so hard to keep holding it.
And now, because of this...
My son racked up bad luck till he's at least 105 years old!
But we had fun, a lot of money was raised and we might try to stay the night next year. We'll see.
