We spent Black Friday at Grandma and Grandpas. Daddy and Grandma went golfing and Grandpa, Mommy and Junior hung out. Junior decided it was not a day for naps but had fun anyways.
By the way, we found out Monday that Christopher is allergice to Milk and Peanuts, great. We now think the "eczema" that's been on his legs, arms and cheeks is more of a milk allergy reaction. Wednesday night we started him on Rice Milk and already his cheeks are better. You can see in the photo above. We are cutting out all dairy to see how the rest of the rash improves. He hasn't had peanuts yet so we'll see as he gets older. I'm allergic to peanuts but only certain brands of peanut butter and I have no reaction to peanuts or peanut butter in candy, so I'm hoping his is more like mine. And yes, that's a new boo boo on his forhead. It's his Harry Potter look-a-like boo boo. He took a stumple Tuesday night. Ok, back to pictures.
Playing with his truck from Leonard and Alexander.
He can now push it back and forth by himself and will also push it back and forth with someone else.
Sitting with his "puppy"
oops... yes, he can climb the stairs... no, I don't let him yet.
One word... cuteness
His joy is obvious.
A side note here. I noticed the other week that Junior seemed to always have circles under his eyes. For a kid that sleeps through the night and takes great naps (usually) this seemed odd. Until I read this week that one side effect of a milk allergy (among other things) are circles under the eyes. Hmmm, who knew. I guess it causes a lot of things that most of us just write off. David and I are going to go milk free for a few weeks here coming up to see what changes it make in us.
I know that half of his face is cut off here, but I kinda really like the photo, just enough to know how happy he is.
Very happy...
