The Big Park in Michigan

Ok, so I'm a total slacker.... yes, I still have pictures from Michigan to post.

I don't even know what day this way, i think Sunday, the day after the reception. We all wanted to take Christopher to the park by the house, but someone mentioned the bigger park (sorry family, I can't remember the name, we are lucky I remember it was Sunday). We headed over and wow, this place was cool.

It was made out of that fake wood that people use for their decks which meant there were no chances of splinters. Yeah!

Daddy!!!

I think he was a little confused here.

Then the boys went to walk the "map". The park has to cool grass area shaped and outlined like the United States. So they went over to California and walked to Michigan, then down to Florida...

Going down the slide:

And the big slide. He is trying to go down so quick then look at his smile after. Priceless, really.

Better than flying. California to Michigan

Overall, we had a blast. Christopher crashed on the way home and had a lot of fun.

Boating

The Monday after the reception, Grandma and Grandpa Wing took us up north for the day to the lake and to go on the boat. Christopher has never been on a boat before so we knew we'd have fun.

We got him all lathered in sunscreen, bundled him up in his lifevest, added his hat and off we went. He was great. We hung out on Great Grandpa's party boat until the guys had the boat ready. Then we hopped on and took off.

He looks a little nervous here but I think it was more that the vest was uncomfortable...

He played with a few toys, then suddenly...

out...

Who can blame him. It was beautiful out, the rhythm of the boat on the water....

Then we headed back and he got some bedtime reading with Grandpa.

Family time

Sunday, we spent at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Eating, opening wedding gifts and just hanging out in general. Christopher was able to spend some time with his cousin Elli who he seemed smitten with.

He kept calling her baby
