7 Month Old Shots

We of course take shots at every "month" birthday. Here are the best... and some out takes from the day.

Our little pumpkin is 7 months old... I can't believe it!


As he gets older, Christopher is much more aware and interested in his surroundings. Including my little sign.


And now that he can move easier, he doesn't always stay where I put him. Ok, never. These photos became a team effort.

Junior tries out the sippy cup

So we gave Junior his sippy cup for the first time. I think he just thinks it's a really cool teething toy that happens to have his name on it.

We started well, he was very interested.


He started to sip on it...


and it quickly turned into a teething toy...


But he sure did look cute in his outfit...


We will keep at the sippy cup and see how it goes.

Mother's Day

I know this post is late... but I didn't have the blog then :)

My first Mother's Day was wonderful. David made breakfast at home, we went to church, then we headed over to Monterey. Mom (Grandma) and I went to a little spa time while the guys (David, Grandpa and Junior) stayed home and made dinner. It was delicous as usual (Grandpa's marinade, Dad's BBQing)

So, it looks like we almost have a crawler on our hands. He has started to move forward by going backwards. He can get up on all fours, moves his knees like he is going to crawl, however, doesn't realize he needs to move his hands too and face plants. I think we are going to have an un-stoppable child before long.



I think we might also have 1 (or 2) teeth coming very very soon. LOTS of drooling, LOTS of teething, and a little fussier.

We will let you know when the tooth comes and the official crawling begins. Here's a photo that David took.
