San Francisco

Our last day with Christopher's Aunties, we hung out at home then headed to San Francisco. Again, a wonderfuly beautiful day...




Believe it or not, the fog doesn't mean it was a yucky day, it was still wonderful.

This was one of the first times we used the Bjorn in public. He LOVED it! SO much fun...

The Visit Continues (Day 3)

Day 3 with the Aunties started out a little tougher. We had an appointment for photos at Sears. I set it up for 10am thinking Junior would take his 8:30 nap and then be great. Well as anyone who has had kids knows, the only thing you can expect is the unexpected. Junior didn't take his nap and this is the proof:



My poor baby had a minor melt down. We got some good photos and he hung in there as long as he could. He was such a trouper... here are some the shots that we liked. These are the raw images.

David picked the girls up at the San Francisco Airport on Wednesday 8/5. They took their time driving down the coast back to Salinas.




Not a lot of ocean views in Michigan.


They even got to see the sea lions swimming in the water.


They met Junior after daycare that day. He was a little grumpy since it was close to bedtime but he tried to put on a happy face.




Thursday morning he was a new boy. He was still a bit clingy with Mommy so I stayed back and let them have some bonding time. It didn't take too long :)











And then he saw mommy...


We decided to go over to Carmel for the day... the day ended up being BEAUTIFUL and perfect for a day out. We started with lunch...







Once we left, we walked around a bit. Mommy couldn't help but go into the Cheese Shop for a bit and here's what I came out to...



It's gets tired being this cute...


On our way out we found a Cheetos plant.


We walked for a bit and found a little area perfect for photos. It had a cute little fountain that was perfect for distracting a 9 month old during photos :)









Then we headed down to the beach for some sand fun...








Christopher wasn't really enjoying the ice-cold water on his little toes...

Then we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Angelos for dinner, fun and some fire pit time...

We played inside...












Then we hung out at the firepit, had some champagne (well almost all of us, Lindsey) and called it a night...
