Hanging out in diapers...

It's was 91 degrees at our house yesterday. Even with fans going it was 84 inside. Trying to get a sick baby comfy in the heat is very hard. He took a nap in just his diaper with a fan on in his room. Then we hung out a bit, Junior in his pack n' play, while daddy fixed mommy's cell phone. Thanks honey :)

Spartan's new best friend... our new dog, CODY.





We rescued Cody. He is estimated to be 1 1/2 to 2 years old. He is a Springer-Boxer mix. He is very well behaved. He and Spartan get along very weel. We are very happy to welcome Cody to the Wing Family!!

It's funny how with kids the best toys are sometimes the free ones. Case in point, the old box of wipes.

CAMPING!

We went camping last weekend with Christopher. Our first camping trip with him. We went to Saratoga Springs (about 1 1/2 hours north). We went with David and Jackie Smith and their two munchkins Asha (3 1/2 and Aiden 1 1/2). There were a couple other visitors that came and went.

We arrived late Friday night. We pop our two-bedroom tent, got the mattress blown up and I put Christopher down. He slept all night till 6:30am. Perfect start...

We played Saturday at the camp site, the kids played, the adult tried to make coffee and breakfast. Later while mommy and junior took a nap the rest of the group hit the pool. For dinner Jackie had made brisket that had been slow cooking on our camp site fire all day. YUMMY....

Christopher when down at his normal bedtime, out by 8pm, up at 6:30am. He only woke up when our car alarm when off right by our tent. Oh... 2 feet from his crib...

We had a great time... and will definately be camping with Christopher again.


It was so warm and muggy. I could only get him to sleep in his diaper and on me. Not good habits but it was too hard to get up without waking him up.. not worth the risk.



Plus I needed the nap.

Knock, Knock, Knock... we have a visitor!

Briana came to visit!! Yes, it was a 3 hour visit but she was here none the less. We were soooo excited. She was in town for a wedding and her mom and sister dropped her off on the way out of town then David took her back to the airport. I love my husband :)




I would have told her those earings doubled as a baby toy :)

Christopher warmed up to her VERY quickly. It was so great to see them together.

10 Months Old!

Can you believe it!!! Christopher is (well was... since this is 2 weeks late) 10 months old. I can't believe it... he's definately on his way to being a toddler... Photos for his 10 month shot were VERY difficult when you are dealing with a squirming baby. Here is his official 10 month shot:

I am so proud of our little man. He hasn't walked yet, but is quite the cruiser. Why walk, he can get anywhere he wants... he's a little dare devil.
