I can't believe that my little baby is 9 months old! My little 7 lb angel is getting so big. As of today, he is 19lb 5.25oz and 28 1/2inches "tall" and his head has an 18" circumference. Yes, he is still under the 50% percentile for height and weight but his noggin' (I think he got from his Daddy) is more like 75% percentile.
Here he was the day he was born:
And here he is today:
and some outtakes from our shoot with our little mobile monkey... and yes, monkey.
"Got your photo mom? I got places to be"
"Ooh, what's this??"
"I HAVE to play with this"
"ooh, it's tasty too"
"mom, why did you put it up here"
"It fell... "
Welcome to the world of the mobile baby...

Teeth!!
First week of Daycare
So Christopher had his week of daycare last week. All in all, he had a much better week than mommy. He loves daycare and daycare loves him. Here is a photo of him right after getting him home from his first day.
Our tired little monkey...
All in all, daycare has been great. They love him, the kids love him, and he seems to be doing really well. Susie, our daycare provider lady, said that he's pulling to a stand, then pushing off to try to stand on his own more and more...

Daycare
Both of my Christopher David's started something new today.
Senior started a new job today!!! He's the Systems Manager at a local company. He's been going in a day here or there over the last few weeks to prepare and he seems to really like it. Almost 6 months to the day (1/15) that he was let go. We are so grateful and thankful to those that have prayed, supported and just helped us get through the last 6 months.
Junior started daycare today!!! We dropped him off today about 7:30am and mommy stayed to make sure he was okay. Our daycare lady held him and he was fine. There were two other little boys there, Chase (2) and Jacob (4 or 5). Christopher gave a big smile and laugh when he saw them. It probably helped that Chase has a really cool mohawk. Christopher played and was great. He crawled to me once and then right back to the toys and the other boys. I scouted out of the room and just watched for a minute before I left. That's when it hit me... ugh. My child is in daycare, he's being cared for by someone he doesn't know. However, he loves it, is doing fine and even went down for a nap. I guess he got a little fussy when he realized I was gone (this was a while after I left), was fine when he was picked up, then napped. (What a life). Daycare, the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time!!!

Two new things!!!
Christopher can hold his bottle on his own!!!!
He's also getting teeth. He is very protective of his little mouth so it's hard to get a picture. This was the best I could do:
Yeah, hard to see. Where my finger hits the top of his gum, the larger of the two teeth is right there, the little white spot. Yeah, not easy to see.
So fun!!!!

Yeah, I know, it's been a while...
So Christopher is almost 9 months old (on next Tuesday). I can't believe it! Here is some of the things that he can do now (not that he's some kind of circus animal that does tricks, but still pretty cool :)
See...
And, his new thing in the corral...
