Cars and Dogs

Sunday Christopher was playing with his cars and track. He loves this thing. Almost too much. He'll leave the cars running around the track then leave the room or start doing something else. He can turn them on and off himself so even if I sneak in a turn them off, I get a "Momma, cars on please!"

(Also, side note. I'm using a new website to store my photos and videos so this is the first time, not sure how they will turn out.)

LOVE this one. Spartan is so brave, getting those evil cars. Then Christopher, right to him "Spartan, no bark!" and Spartan stops. I love that the video ends with the two of them just watching the cars.

Easter Sunday

For Easter Sunday, we joined my parents for mass, brunch and dinner. Christopher was so good during mass and really was a trooper. We had an amazing brunch in Carmel after which we went back to their house so Christopher could take his nap. 2 hours, later we started him on a mini egg hunt and basket time.

Yes, the hat made a repeat performance. Like I said, he loved it. He also loved the tie. Go figure.

We had a great Easter. Christopher has enough candy for a while! Luckily, he doesn't get much so he doesn't have a big craving for it.

Easter Egg Hunt (Saturday)

The Saturday before Easter we took Christopher to his first Easter Egg hunt. It was... interesting... well the parents were. It was great. They had the hunts broken into groups, Christopher's was the 0-2 group. However, since they are obviously still so young, the parents go with them. And when I say "go" I mean the majority of the parents are dragging their poor children and piling these plastic eggs into their easter bags and at some times grocery bags. It was insane. At one point, I just picked Christopher up, ran past the crowd to a free spot with eggs and just hunkered down over them so he had a few he could get. The bottom line was he loved it, he had fun and that's all that mattered. Plus he looked adorable, see?

I didn't know if he would, but he LOVED the hat :)

The Easter sugar high begins

Christopher loved them from a distance yet didn't want to get near them. We got this photo then he looked up, saw who it was and started backing up, quickly.

We had a great time and Christopher loved it.

BBQ with Friends

Two Friday's ago our friends the Colby's came over for dinner. We bbq'd hamburgers. First burgers of the season. They were sooo good and the boys played so well together. I brought out the tee-ball set and Christopher just had fun retrieving the ball while Leo hit it.

The hardest was teaching Christopher to stay back. Behind Leo so he didn't get hit. So we'd tell him to stand under the tree. It worked. Love this photo of him.
