2 Year Stats

Two years, wow!

So Christopher went in for his 2 year appointment. I remember driving him over for his 4 weeks appointment :(

Height: 33 3/4" (27%)

Weight: 27.6lb (27%)

Head Circ.: not sure on inches, but 90% (duh!)

So he's still a tiny guys with a big ol' noggin.

He was also diagnosed with Asthma. David took him to the appointment so I'll be getting more info from him on that. We have had him on liquid albuterol but got switched to an inhaler with a mask as well a singulair asthma meds in tab form. We get those tonight and start them. We will do this for two weeks, see how he does, then go back on Nov. 18th to see what's going on. 

I'm told a lot of toddler that get asthma do grow out of it, mainly because their lungs just get bigger.

Birthday Boy

Wow, time is flying and am I behind yet again in posting photos and anything in general I guess.

So our little man turned two last week on the 14th. Two years old, I can't believe it. We had a party at a neighbors house last Saturday the 16th with jumpy houses. Christopher LOVED it. All of the kids loved the jumpy houses. We had one big one for the big kids and a "toddler" one for the smaller kids. It turned out to work great since it was only Christopher and Aiden in there and the loved it.

He was a man on a mission in that thing!

And we were really lucky that it was a beautiful day. Not too hot, but perfect.

They did a lot of running into walls, things, each other and falling and laughing so hard!

Even Katherine joined in the fun

Everyone loved the food. We did hot dogs and homemade chili (by moi!) and other stuff.

People just relaxed and chilled and little tiny babies like Brooklyn napped and hid from the sun.

For dessert we had cupcakes and cookies. I made yellow cupcakes and banana chocolate cupcakes that people seemed to enjoy.

Then near 2pm, Christopher was taken home for a monster 2 1/2 hour nap (yeah!) and the big kids continued to play.

Taco thought it was a great time for a nap.

Christopher before the party. He had been playing in the other room so I put some music on so we could get ready. He came running in to dance. He ended up wanting me to dance with him, but without the camera.

overall, we had a lot of fun. Christopher had a blast. There are more photos to come of the party and of him opening gifts. I just need to get them uploaded. Happy Birthday little monkey!

Family Time

So our last night in Michigan, we spent over at Lindsey's house with the whole family. We had a great time and it was fun just to hang our with everyone.

Then we tried to introduce him to his (Then upcoming) now new cousin Kameron.

We were telling him, the baby is in here, can you say hi? He'd say hi, but was a little nervous. Elli had just gone to bed so perhaps he thought she was now in Karlene? I'm not sure what he understood, but it was cute.

It was so sad to leave again, but hopefully we'll get to see everyone again real soon.

Great Grandparents

So Christopher not only has 3 sets of Grandparents (California, Colorado and Michigan) but he actually has a great sprinkling of Great Grandparents. After the visit to the farm, we stopped by Missy (Grandma Wing)'s parent's house. I didn't get many shots and the one's with Christopher came out pretty bad since it had been a long day, but we got some.

On the Farm

After the park (and after naps and food), we headed over to visit Missy's sister Colleen and her family. We knew Christopher would have fun. They have horses, a donkey and we knew he'd be into it.

He was able to meet the horses first

But didn't want to pet them.

He was unsure of riding (sitting really) on their donkey Chester.

So we let him try to feed him instead.

Everyone, including the dog, were helping

I think this was his first time around animals that were bigger than Cody.

But he was a trooper and was great.

And was very curious
